Privacy Policy
This policy explains what personal data International Marketing Agency (“IMA”, “we”) collects through this website, why, and what rights you have. We keep it short and specific to what the site actually does.
1. Who is responsible
The controller of your personal data is Bor-Dan Kompani DOOEL, 2ra Brigada 13, 1430 Kavadarci, North Macedonia, VAT MK4011009504792, trading as International Marketing Agency. Managing director: Borche Manev. For any privacy question or request, email info@internationalmarketingagency.com.
2. What we collect and why
- Contact form. Name, work email, role, company and the details you choose to share about your team and market. We use them to reply and to prepare a conversation with you.
- “Ask the team” chat. We record chat conversations (the questions you type and our answers) so our team can read them and improve our answers. If you leave your email and company website, we store them together with the conversation so a person from IMA can follow up.
- Challenge and pilot requests. Your name, work email, company website, target market and preferred times, so we can schedule the session or start the pilot.
- Technical data. Our server records standard request data (IP address, browser, pages requested, time) for security, abuse prevention and troubleshooting.
- Analytics. Only if you accept cookies. See our Cookie Policy.
We don't buy contact lists through this website, and we don't sell personal data.
3. Legal basis
- Steps before a contract (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)) when you ask us about our services, book a challenge or request a pilot.
- Legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)) for following up on business enquiries, keeping the website secure and preventing abuse.
- Consent (Art. 6(1)(a)) for analytics cookies. You can withdraw it at any time.
4. Who processes data for us
We use a small number of service providers, each bound by a data processing agreement:
- Hetzner Online GmbH (Germany): hosts this website and its database in the EU.
- Google: our business email (Google Workspace), and Google Analytics only if you consent.
- Anthropic (USA): generates the answers in the “Ask the team” chat. The messages you type in the chat are sent to Anthropic to produce a reply. Please don't share sensitive personal data in the chat.
- Twilio SendGrid (USA): delivers our emails to you, such as the confirmation of your request and our follow-ups, and tells us whether they were delivered or opened.
- Let's Encrypt: issues the certificate that encrypts your connection. It receives no personal data from your visit.
Where data leaves the European Economic Area, it is protected by the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or an equivalent safeguard.
5. How long we keep it
- Enquiries, chat leads and requests: up to 24 months after our last contact, unless you become a client.
- Client data: for the duration of the engagement and as long as accounting and tax law requires.
- Chat conversations where no email was left: up to 12 months.
- Server logs: up to 30 days.
6. Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct, delete, restrict or export your personal data, and you can object to processing based on our legitimate interests. Email info@internationalmarketingagency.com and we will reply within one month.
You can also complain to a supervisory authority: in North Macedonia, the Personal Data Protection Agency; in the EU, the authority in your country.
7. Emails we send you
When you contact us, we send a confirmation and up to three short follow-ups about your request over the next two weeks, and stop as soon as you reply or ask us to. From time to time we may also send people who have contacted us an update about IMA's services, based on our legitimate interest in staying in touch with business contacts. Every email includes our company address and a one-click unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing stops all of them. We see whether our emails were delivered, opened or clicked, so we know they reached you.
8. When IMA runs outreach for clients
When we run outbound campaigns on behalf of a client, the client decides who is contacted and why, and acts as controller; IMA acts as processor under a written agreement. Our campaigns are business to business only, aimed at people in their professional role, and every message offers a simple way to opt out. If you received outreach from us and want to know where your details came from, or want to be removed, email info@internationalmarketingagency.com.
9. Security
All traffic to this site is encrypted. Our server is hosted in the EU, access is restricted to key-based logins, and only authorised IMA staff can read submitted data.
10. Changes
We update this policy when the website or our processing changes. The date at the top shows the latest version.
